Gamestream unveils Pleio® as part of its launch with Bouygues Telecom.

Pleio®, Gamestream’s Cloud Gaming brand makes its worldwide debut with Bouygues Telecom.

Experience Pleio®

Since December 1st, 5G mobile plan subscribers at Bouygues Telecom have the opportunity to experience Pleio. This is a cloud gaming service with unlimited access* on 5G Android smartphones and tablets, as well as Android decoders, already successfully available among many other 5G international operators.

Pleio® the "Netflix" for 100% family-friendly video game

Just like Spotify for music and Netflix for shows and movies, it’s time for Pleio to free up video games.
You don’t need consoles or downloads anymore. With Pleio, the Bouygues Telecom Android 5G mobile subscribers can get access to unlimited playtime* with a catalog of 80 iconic games in Full HD console-quality like LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Agents of Mayhem, or even DiRT 4. Get the first month free and then it's only 9,99€ per month thereafter, without any long-term commitment.
A Bouygues Telecom Android 5G mobile plan is enough to take advantage of a smooth gameplay experience. Adventure, sport, action, strategy, race… The Pleio cloud gaming service follows families anywhere for unforgettable moments, in a reassuring environment for parents thanks to an integrated PEGI parental control.

Pleio is based on a technology adapted to the environment of 5G operators

We had developed really soon our own IT environment around the H.265 coding standard/video compression.
This technological choice allows our users an optimal gameplay quality with a low latency rate.
With the worldwide deployment of 5G networks, this technological achievement is of the utmost importance, when we know that streaming platforms hold an important part of the worldwide Internet traffic.
In fact, we also worked with Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia, three major 5G technology suppliers, and have opened their research centers where solutions for 5G operators are found.

How does it work?

Pleio is available for all the Bouygues Telecom subscribers having a 5G 20 Go+ mobile offer with an Android smartphone.
The Bbox Miami and Bbox 4K Brooklyn subscribers can keep playing on their TV screens.

To be able to play, the client will need to subscribe to this service via his Bouygues Telecom personal account. He will then start playing one of the 80 games from prestigious publishers like Disney, Capcom, Codemasters, Koch Media, Plug in Digital, or even Focus Home. This catalog will have new games every month and will expand to a hundred games by 2021.

A virtual controller allows you to get the sensations of a portable gaming device, but it is also possible to use the Big Ben controller , to play, which you can purchase on our website and at Bouygues Telecom stores. This adjustable controller allows you to convert your smartphone into a true portable gaming device in a few seconds.
